Frequently Asked Questions
We offer several colour styles across our range, each created by hand during the mould‑pouring process. Because every pour is done individually, no two toys will ever be exactly the same — each one has its own natural variations, swirls, and gradients.
Solid
A single, uniform colour poured throughout the entire mould. This option gives a clean, consistent finish with minimal variation.
Fusion
Two or more colours poured together so they blend organically. The colours mix naturally during the pour, creating unique marbling and patterns that can’t be replicated exactly.
Fade
A smooth gradient where one colour transitions into another. The effect depends on how the colours interact during the pour, giving each fade its own character and flow.
Edge
A specialised technique where one colour is poured around the outer edge of the mould, and a different colour is poured inside. This creates a distinct contrast between the exterior and interior, with subtle variations depending on how the colours settle.
All of our colour styles are crafted by hand, not machine‑produced or digitally simulated. That means every piece is individual — the colour you receive will follow the same style, but the exact patterning will always be one‑of‑a‑kind.
Many brands use heavily edited, digitally enhanced, or AI‑generated images to showcase their products, which can make colours and details appear more polished than they are in real life. These techniques often boost contrast, smooth textures, and exaggerate colour gradients, creating visuals that don’t always match the physical item a customer receives.
We take a different approach. All of our photos are taken from real, physical products using controlled lighting and minimal post‑processing. This ensures the colours, textures, and finishes you see online accurately represent the item you’ll receive. While our images may appear less stylised than those on other sites, they are true to life, consistent, and intentionally free from artificial enhancement.
Our priority is accuracy, not digital perfection — so what you see is exactly what we make.
Unlike many companies, we don’t add extra fees for fusion colours, fades, luminous blends, or any of our special finishes.
Most brands make each item to order, which means complex colours cost them more to produce — and those costs are passed straight on to the customer, often doubling the base price.
We work differently. All of our products are pre‑made and kept in stock, including our more expensive colour blends. That means we offer a smaller, curated range of colour options, but every colour costs exactly the same. No hidden upgrades, no surprise add‑ons, no “hero photo” that only matches the product if you pay extra.
If you see a colour on our site, it’s the real price — and the real product — every time.
We know you have options — and we think that’s a good thing. It means you get to choose the brand that feels right for you. Here’s why so many customers choose us.

Support that actually supports you

A lifetime guarantee
Our products are built to last. When cared for properly, they can last a lifetime — and we stand behind that with our lifetime warranty.
We’ve updated our pricing to make it clearer and more consistent for everyone. After a change of management last year, we reviewed our previous discount‑based structure and found it no longer reflected the way we operate today. Our new pricing is straightforward, stable, and aligned with the quality and care that go into every product we make.
Our products are still made using the same processes, the same materials, and the same level of care. The new pricing simply provides stable, transparent costs that reflect how we run the business now — nothing about the quality has changed.
Our products are not glued together. Many manufacturers use split‑mould systems as a way to cut costs, which can leave visible seams where the two halves meet. We don’t use that method.
Every John Thomas Toys product is hand‑poured into a full mould, which means there are no seam lines, no joins, and no glued sections — just a smooth, consistent finish and a perfectly formed product every time.
This makes the extraction process from the mould more labour intensive - but we believe in quality and this is the only way to achieve that.
